Welcome to our Webpage

Hi!
My name is Mrs. Blakney. I teach special education grades K-3. I have been teaching at Clinton Elementary School for seventeen years. I have been married to my husband Mark for 34 years. We have four children, Tiffany and her husband Rob, Melissa, Mallorie and her husband Travis, and Tyler. We have two beautiful granddaughters, Kierra and Ryleigh. We have three handsome grandsons, Jude, Cameron, and Wesley.
The students in my room work on achieving grade level skills and making academic progress based on their learning needs. Every year we do a cooking project as well as other smaller projects.
I am available everyday before and after school. I can be reached anytime by phone at Clinton Elementary and by email at tblakney@msad49.org. I welcome any questions or concerns so parents should feel free to contact me anytime.
I am also the site coordinator for the Colby Cares About Kids program. There are currently twenty-four mentors coming to Clinton Elementary School from Colby College to spend time with a student helping them academically and to be a big buddy. We take a trip to Colby every spring to celebrate the program. To learn more about the Colby Cares About Kids program, Click Here.
