Welcome to Mrs.
Hi! My name is Christy Gagnon. I am a resource room teacher at Clinton Elementary School. This is my 16th year teaching and I have spent all sixteen years teaching fourth, fifth and sixth graders with disabilities.
I graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 1997 and The University of Maine at Farmington in 2000. I have known since high school that I wanted to be a special education teacher when I volunteered in the Functional Life Skills classroom during my study halls.
I have been married to my husband, Lance since November 2003 and have an eight year old daughter named Grace. We live in Fairfield with our dog Bandit and cat Laney.
Besides teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and visiting with friends. I enjoy taking Grace new places and watching her play field hockey and participate in competitive gymnastics..
I love to travel and count down the days to my next trip to Disney World!!
The resource room provides small group direct instruction for students who need extra help with reading, writing, and or math. Each year we plan, prepare, and host a Thanksgiving Dinner for the upper wing. This is the highlight of the year.
If you ever need to contact me please feel free to email me at email@example.com or call Clinton Elementary School 426-2181.
